Bellmore Lions, the sponsor of the Bellmore Flea Market is committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of all of the vendors, shoppers and participants. We are requiring vendors, shoppers and all participants to follow the CDC, New York State, Nassau County and the various health organizations’ guidelines while on “Flea Market” property.
(These guidelines are mandatory and subject to change. There is no exception to the rules.)

General Flea Market Guidelines

  1. Signs are located strategically around the premises of the Flea Market directing shoppers to social distance, wear face masks and follow all COVID-19 pandemic guidelines and protocols.
  2. Shoppers must follow designated walking directional patterns so as not to cross path with other shoppers.
  3. Vendors and shoppers are instructed verbally, there are signs posted and written guidelines distributed to all vendors and shoppers to not attend the flea market (and to vacate the premises immediately) if they have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, if they recently visited a state on the mandatory quarantine list, or if the have any symptoms (fever greater than 100.4 degrees, headache, muscle pain, sore throat, chills, runny nose, etc.)
  4. Three Single use (portable) bathrooms are provided. Vendors and shoppers are advised to sanitize the bathroom before and after each use.

Vendor Guidelines

  1. All Vendors and their employees are required to wear face masks at all time (Face shields are recommended, however, not mandatory.).
  2. No more than 2-4 shoppers may occupy a vendors “space” at any one time (The number of people varies depending on the number of spaces that the vendor occupies.)
  3. Vendors are require to social distance between themselves and other vendors by either placing a car between them or to maintain one parking space between each vendor.
  4. Each vendor booth is required to have hand sanitizer dispenses for use by vendors and shoppers.

Shopper Guidelines

  1. All shoppers are required to wear masks while on “flea market” property.
  2. All shoppers are required to maintain social distancing and maintain six feet between them and other shoppers.
  3. Shoppers are instructed to follow one-way walking paths as to not cross paths with their fellow shoppers.

The Flea Market is open to all Vendors and Shoppers. All attendees are required to adhere to and follow the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Guidelines, the various health organizations’ (including Nassau County) and the Guidelines outlined below.

If you answer YES to any of the questions below or any of the statements below are true you are prohibited from attending the flea market and requested to leave immediately.

  1. Have you had COVID-19 symptoms in the past 14 days? (Fever greater than 100.4 degrees, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell)
  2. Have you tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
  3. Have you been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case in the past 14 days?
  4. In the past 14 days have you taken a trip outside of New York State or entered New York State from another state?

All Vendors and Shoppers, their family members, guests and friends acknowledge that there is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 and any and all consequences thereof. Please make informed choices about attending the flea market.
